The Captain’s Gone and Left us at Sopers Hole

With sober commitment to attend to all the maintenance tasks laid out before us by the Captain before his departure home to Canada for a 3 week vacation, we were silently aghast at the growing list. Immediately after waving goodbye to the Captain on his dinghy, we tossed the list to the side and planned our down time. We were in Sopers Hole, Tortola, hmmmm, what should we do. It’s not often for crewmembers to be able to thoroughly explore islands, just because there is usually not enough time at port to get past the initial shops near the dock. Hmmmm, plotting, adventurist crew, we devised many trips.
