What’s on the other side of the mountain?

A hike in the mid afternoon sun brought us a welcome reward! We left the ship at Sopers Hole, walked up the mountain following the road through rain forest in the heavy humidity, soaking and panting, reached the top. What do you see on a mountain hike on the British Virgin Island of Tortola? A Rasta mon! A wild goat, a tamed cow, a mansion, experience a quiet stillness, enjoy views from heaven, smell the humidity and rain forest flora. We saw a sign, Brewers Bay, pointing toward a beautiful small bay. A steep walk down the windy road led us to a campsite at the beach in this fine quiet bay surrounded by mountain.  Did you know among the luxury hotels, you can still find a quiet serene campsight? Enjoy mon! Another day at the beach, relaxing and talking with the locals, lead us to a ride back to Sopers Hole to the ship for the night. Just another day in paradise.
